Spray Painters Wanted

We are looking for Shipyard Workers:

• Spray Painters

for marine industry in Denmark

Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments. 

Key tasks:

• Paint and coatings to surfaces using spray equipment, ensuring a smooth and uniform finish

• Prepare surfaces for painting, mix and match paint colors, and use various techniques to achieve desired results

• Surface Preparation:  includes cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure a good paint bond and smooth finish

• Spray Application: involves using spray guns and other equipment to apply paint evenly and accurately, ensuring a smooth finish

• Spray painters inspect their work to ensure it meets quality standards and make necessary adjustments or repairs

• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining spray equipment and paint booths

• Spray painters must follow strict health and safety guidelines when handling paints and solvents

Skills:

• English - must be able to communicate in English 

• Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety

• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

Experience:

• Experience from shipyards 

• Education or professional experience in a given position
