Global Pack 
Global Pack Group is a successful international trading and production company with a strong financial position, a well-defined structure, and a solid business model. The company specializes in packaging and supplying components to customers worldwide within the furniture and kitchen industries, including suppliers to IKEA®. 

The company’s head office is based in Denmark and is represented locally through fully owned subsidiaries in Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, and China. Financial Controller 
As Financial Controller, you will support the finance function in ensuring high-quality financial reporting and structured processes. You will work with accounting and reporting while contributing to building a strong financial foundation, creating structure, and supporting the continued development of the finance function. 

You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the finance team, gradually taking on more responsibility as you develop in the role. Your responsibilities will include supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and contributing to the overall quality of reporting. 

You will also be introduced to working with subsidiaries and group structures, gaining an understanding of financial processes across entities. Over time, you will develop competencies within controlling and financial analysis. In addition, you will contribute to improving and optimizing processes within the finance function, including working with systems and data to create better structure and transparency. 

International collaboration and development 
In this newly created position, you will have a unique opportunity to influence both the scope of the role and the development of the finance function. The position involves close collaboration across countries and functions, requiring the ability to navigate different market dynamics, including cross-border trade and VAT matters. You can expect a workday with international interaction and approximately 20–30 travel days annually. 

Global Pack is currently on a digital transformation journey, focusing on optimizing and streamlining the finance function. You will have the opportunity to influence this development and work on creating smarter processes in collaboration with accounting teams and the wider organization. 

Professional foundation, curiosity, and drive 
We expect you to have a relevant educational background within accounting, finance, or economics. You may be newly graduated or have a few years of experience. 

You have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a natural interest in working with numbers, structure, and data. Strong IT skills and curiosity towards systems and digital tools are essential. 

Experience from a production company is an advantage but not a requirement. 

You work in a structured and responsible manner and are motivated by taking on new challenges. You are eager to learn and develop your competencies and are comfortable working independently while also collaborating with colleagues. 

Fluency in English is essential, and Danish is an advantage. As a person, you are analytical, persistent, and proactive. You take ownership of your tasks and are motivated by being part of a growing and developing finance function.
