Electronics Engineer for Autonomous Drone Systems

Electronics Engineer – Full-time

Are you an experienced and curious electronics engineer, motivated to develop advanced electronics for autonomous drone systems?

At Hecto Drone, we develop fully autonomous drones for advanced operations. Most of our work is done in-house – from software and electronics to mechanical design and final assembly. This gives us a unique opportunity to work closely across disciplines and take full ownership of our solutions.

Due to strong interest and increasing demand, we are expanding our team and are now looking for an Electronics Engineer. You will become an important part of our development team and work closely with colleagues across electronics, software, mechanics and production.

Your primary tasks

  • Design electronic schematics and develop hardware solutions

  • PCB layout (experience with Altium is preferred)

  • PCB bring-up, testing and troubleshooting

  • Contribute to the development of next-generation drone hardware, including flight control systems, power distribution and battery management

  • Collaborate closely with the development team on new and improved solutions

We expect that you

  • Have experience with electronic design, schematic capture and PCB layout

  • Have hands-on experience with PCB bring-up and testing

  • Have a solid understanding of digital electronics

  • Are able to work independently as well as in close collaboration with others

  • Can communicate professionally in English

It is an advantage if you

  • Have experience with Altium Designer

  • Have worked with power electronics, motor control or embedded systems

  • Have experience from robotics, aerospace, defence or other high-reliability environments

  • Are motivated by working with complex systems and taking responsibility for end-to-end solutions

We offer

  • An exciting full-time position in a company working with cutting-edge autonomous drone technology

  • A workplace where we prioritise a positive and respectful working environment, and where collaboration, helpfulness and daily well-being are a natural part of our culture

  • A dynamic and innovative environment where ideas can quickly be turned into reality

  • Strong opportunities for both professional and personal development

Please send your motivated CV to job@hectodrone.com.
