    Senior Structural Engineer

    Your position 

    In your new position as a Senior Structural Engineer in the Engineering division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated team, whose mission is to ensure the effective and timely execution of the structural design for our Offshore Substation Projects. You will have the chance to influence large-scale energy projects and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs. Above all, your work will make a real difference in shaping the future of offshore wind energy.

    The position is full-time, and your work location can be either at our office in Esbjerg, Copenhagen or Gdynia. You should expect up to 10-30 travel days annually.

    Your tasks & responsibilities 

    As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the interface of all technical issues affecting structural design and ensuring timely delivery of documentation to steel fabricators.

    Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

    • Coordinating with structural engineering partners to meet project timelines.
    • Reviewing and ensuring compliance of contractor deliveries with project codes and specifications.
    • Participating in meetings with equipment suppliers to handle structural discipline interfaces.
    • Monitoring and controlling the weight development of topside steel.
    • Identifying and managing design changes throughout the project lifecycle.

    Your profile & qualifications 

    We are looking for an outgoing and positive structural engineer who is passionate about offshore structural design and eager to contribute to the energy transition. You have a proactive and organized approach to your work and thrive in a collaborative environment.

    To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have: 

    • A Bachelor or Master in Structural or Mechanical Engineering
    • Solid understanding of offshore structural design
    • Experience in project management.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Fluency in English
