We are therefore seeking a structured and proactive Financial Controller to strengthen our finance department. The role In this role, you will work across reporting and controlling - contributing with financial insight, analysis, and continuous improvement of financial processes. You will be a key contributor in ensuring high-quality financial reporting and act as a financial sparring partner to the organization. Your overall responsibilities You will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial governance, and valuable business insights. Working closely with the finance team and the wider organization, you will help support decision-making and continuous improvement. Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Acting as a financial sparring partner to the organization, supporting decision-making through financial insights and data-driven analysis. Driving the development, optimization, standardization, and digitalization of financial and controlling processes. Identifying financial risks, improvement opportunities, and efficiency gains across the organization. Participating in audit processes. Your primary tasks Preparing, reviewing and quality-assuring monthly and annual financial reports. Analyzing deviations between budget, forecast and actual results, and communicating insights clearly to relevant stakeholders. Developing and optimizing the monthly close process to ensure efficiency, accuracy and transparency. Supporting business areas with financial estimates and decision-support analyses. Providing financial data and analysis for business development initiatives and strategic projects. Transforming financial data into actionable insights for management through strong analytical and data-driven approaches. Preparing ad hoc analyses and financial presentations for the organization and other stakeholders. The ideal profile We imagine that you have a strong financial foundation combined with a solid business understanding, and an interest in using data to drive better decisions. You are analytical, structured, and proactive in your approach, and you enjoy working in a role that joins detail with a broader business perspective. We also imagine that you: Have strong accounting and financial controlling competencies Possess experience with Business Central 365 or similar ERP systems Have advanced Excel skills and experience working with BI tools and financial data models Approach tasks in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner Are proactive and comfortable taking ownership of your areas of responsibility Communicate financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders Are fluent in Danish and English, both written and verbal Why work with us You can look forward to playing a significant role within the Finance department.
