Configit is an international software company headquartered in Copenhagen, specializing in configuration technology for leading manufacturing companies. Through its Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, Configit helps customers manage complex product configurations across the entire lifecycle, enabling them to bring configurable products and services to market faster, reduce errors, and improve efficiency across sales, engineering, manufacturing and service. Configit operates in a global, international environment and positions itself as a trusted partner for organizations facing complex configuration challenges, combining deep domain expertise with a strong focus on innovation, security and compliance. About the role Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, revenue recognition and ARR reporting, in close collaboration with the Revenue Finance team and key stakeholders across the organization. The role combines core revenue finance activities with supporting tasks related to audits, system maintenance and business support. Main responsibilities (approx. 60%) Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization regarding existing systems, processes and reporting Ensure accurate and timely invoicing aligned with customer contracts and accounting policies Support revenue recognition and ARR reporting and ensure high-quality delivery of revenue-related reporting Deliver reporting to Professional Services, Management and the Board of Directors Partner with Project Managers and act as a trusted advisor on revenue-related matters Supporting responsibilities (approx. 40%) Prepare audit material and support audit processes Customer, project and system setup/maintenance (e.g., customers, projects, time registration) Support credit control activities Provide support for budgeting and planning activities In addition, the role includes clear ownership of responsibility across specific entities, ensuring dedicated support and reporting across the group. Your profile You have solid hands-on experience in revenue finance and you are comfortable working with ARR, invoicing and revenue recognition. You enjoy roles where you work close to the business and where your work directly supports Project Managers and the wider organization. You typically come from a similar role as a Business Controller or Revenue Controller and have several years of relevant experience. Furthermore, you have accounting experience including knowledge of AP/AR, balance sheet and annual accounts. You work in a structured and analytical way and are able to prioritize and deliver high-quality output under tight deadlines, while maintaining a holistic overview. You take ownership naturally, are proactive in your approach, and thrive in an interim role where the ability to “hit the ground running" is essential. You are comfortable operating in an international, English-speaking environment and communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing. You are outgoing and stakeholder-oriented, with the ability to build trust-based relationships and act as a trusted advisor to Project Managers. Strong IT skills are important in this role. You are confident navigating finance systems and reporting tools and are motivated by improving processes and workflows. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI is an advantage, as is experience with audit preparation and supporting external audits. Why Configit This is a responsible fixed-term position.
