Do you want to use your mechanical engineering skills to make a real difference in the green transition, while learning completely new things and working across a wide variety of technical areas? We work with Everllence two-stroke engines already installed on ships worldwide, helping ship owners adapt their engines to reduce their green-house gas emissions and improve fuel efficiency. You will join a welcoming group of engineers who collaborate closely, challenge each other, and enjoy shaping ideas that turn into real technical solutions. IMPORTANT: You do not need prior engine experience. Full training will be provided. If you bring curiosity, enthusiasm, and the desire to create meaningful impact, we will teach you the rest. You will play an important role in: Taking a holistic engineering view on many two-stroke engine systems Develop new retrofit concepts and engineering solutions Turning customer needs and commercial priorities into feasible, robust mechanical solutions Performing engineering tasks within project teams, from initial concept all the way to technical delivery We imagine that you: Hold a mechanical engineering degree, at minimum a bachelor’s and preferably a master’s Enjoy seeing the big picture and understanding how different subsystems work together Want to contribute to the green transition and feel inspired by making a real technical impact Thrive in a collaborative environment where ideas are shared, challenged, and refined together Like variety in your work, moving between different tasks, topics, and project phases You may be early in your career or bring many years of experience - both are welcome. What matters is your motivation to learn and contribute. And once more: you do not need experience with engines. We will teach you everything you need. Welcome to Retrofit Technology Department You will join a team where collaboration, curiosity and everyday human connection truly matter. We work closely with colleagues across R&D, Engineering and PrimeServ, and we value an open atmosphere where people talk to each other directly, even if it means walking across the entire building instead of sending an email. It is a culture built on trust, energy and the belief that ideas grow stronger when people interact face to face. We also believe that great engineering happens when people take care of themselves. That is why we encourage taking breaks during the day. Our common areas include table tennis, table football and darts, and they are used regularly, whether for clearing your mind, recharging with colleagues or sparking new conversations. Our department brings together people with different engineering backgrounds who enjoy helping each other, sharing knowledge and building solutions together. You will experience a team that is friendly, open and eager to welcome new ideas and new perspectives. What can you expect from us: On the job training that will give you in depth knowledge of two stroke engines and retrofit technologies Opportunities for technical development, idea creation, and innovation A strong engineering community where you can grow your expertise across design, performance, emissions and energy efficiency solutions A supportive project setup where you collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers Professional and personal development opportunities, courses and mentorship Unleash your potential: Join us towards a carbon-neutral future At Everllence, we offer you the chance to shape the future where you can create, drive, build, and be a part of improving innovative energy solutions, while achieving your personal career goals.
