The Combustion Chamber team is in charge of the design for all components for the combustion chamber; cylinder liner, piston, cylinder cover and exhaust valve; for all two-stroke marine engines in the Everllence portfolio. We are also involved in development projects across the entire organization. You will play an important role in: Construct and optimize existing engine components. Generate ideas as well as develop designs in corporation with your colleagues. Support our engine builders with production challenges. Occasionally having the opportunity to travel to engine builders or ships in connection with follow-up on new designs. Receiving training in technical areas that are necessary for handling the tasks and responsibilities in the department. We imagine that you: Have a relevant degree as a Mechanical Engineer Have the desire and knowledge to translate theory into the practical design, both in corporation with co-workers and individually Preferably, you have some experience with 3D CAD programs - we use Siemens NX and some knowledge of diesel engines and/or practical construction experience will be an advantage Have solid English skills, both spoken and written are required. It is also preferable that you understand, or are willing to learn Danish on a reasonable level. We encourage new graduates to apply for this position as well!
