ID 60444 Do you have solid experience with electrical installations, dimensioning, and consulting? Are you strong in power systems and passionate about railway infrastructure? Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow We are seeking an experienced Power Systems Consultant to work on both large and smaller railway projects in Denmark and across the Nordic region. You will be involved in projects with Banedanmark, DSB, the Danish Light Rail systems, Metro, Sund & Bælt, as well as assignments in Norway and Sweden. Experience in managing medium-sized electrical or interdisciplinary projects, coordinating with utility companies on grid connections (400V-10kV), and working with railway electrical systems is an advantage. Knowledge of earthing, EMC, Danish and European standards, electrical documentation, and supervision is also beneficial, as is experience with EL-CAD tools, lighting installations, and SCADA or automation systems. Your key responsibilities will be: Analysis and clarification of load and power requirements for existing and new electrical installations Dimensioning of electrical installations: switchboards and cables based on needs and existing conditions Verification and calculation of designs using Simaris or similar software Ensuring compliance with electrical safety legislation such as LBK26, Installation Order 1082, and DS/HD 60364 Independent project responsibility for smaller electrical project. On top of that, you will have: A relevant educational background within power systems, such as an electrician with consulting experience, an electrical service engineer (El-installatør), a marine engineer (Maskinmester), or a power systems engineer. At least 5 years of experience from a consulting firm, utility company, railway infrastructure owner or similar areas. Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language.
