Hoyer VMS Group is currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer based at our office in either Frederikshavn or Hadsten. Your Key Responsibilities Technical and financial responsibility for electrical projects (time, quality, and budget) Design, dimensioning, and documentation of maritime electrical installations, automation, and propulsion systems Planning and prioritizing resources while ensuring project progress Technical leadership and coordination of project team members and external resources Leading technical tender processes, including calculations and solution selection Coordination with customers, classification societies, suppliers, and internal departments Ensuring compliance with applicable class regulations (DNV, ABS, BV) and international standards (IEC, ISO) On-site project work, supervision, commissioning, and troubleshooting - nationally and internationally Professional sparring, knowledge sharing, and competency development within the team Contributing to standardization, method development, and the strategic development of new electrical and green solutions Active participation in technical and process integration in connection with VMS Group joining Hoyer Group Your Profile To succeed in this role, you: Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or are a qualified electrician with relevant further education Have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience with maritime or offshore electrical installations Have experience with maritime project work and customer dialogue Have solid experience in the design and documentation of switchboards, main distribution systems, automation, and propulsion systems Have experience with electric propulsion solutions, hybrid systems, and green energy configurations Are familiar with SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Schneider) Possess in-depth knowledge of classification rules and relevant standards Have documented experience in project management and technical coordination Work in a structured manner across project phases and deliverables Are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken As a Person, You Are solution-oriented and maintain an overview even when challenges arise Take ownership of projects and ensure progress Make well-founded decisions - even under time pressure Communicate clearly and positively with both customers and colleagues Follow up on agreements and ensure tasks are completed Bring energy and contribute to a positive and constructive working environment Are motivated by responsibility, technical complexity, and visible results What We Offer You will be offered a permanent position in an exciting and growing international company.
