We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join A. Espersen A/S - one of Europe’s leading private label producers in the frozen fish category and with our own brand in Denmark, Rahbek. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with selected retail customers across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland, while driving profitable growth and commercial performance. Your key responsibilities Develop annual account plans with sales strategies, promotional plans, budgets, etc for assigned key accounts Maximise sales of designated key accounts by developing and recommending the listings and promotional strategy Negotiate prices, manage promotions/campaigns, and handle new product launches with Marketing Oversee pragmatic sales forecasting based on demand and sell out (base line and incremental volume). Monitor stock levels, credit, and costs in partnership with Finance, OFS, and BSC teams Organize customer meetings, drive joint business plans, and report on performance Deep understanding of customer profitability and how to impact it Work with the Sales director/Sr KAM to recommend and implement approved business plans for key accounts and review in line with quarterly targets Deliver the individual account business plans to ensure they meet both Espersen and customer objectives and reflect the overall approved sales and brand strategy You will become part of our Nordic commercial team based in Copenhagen consisting of 4 colleagues besides you. Further, you will be working closely with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain who are besides in either Denmark or Poland. The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in Sales, Business, or a related field, and work experience with the retail customers in the FMCG industry. You have a proven track record in key account management, P&L ownership and Nordic retail partnerships with experience in MS Office and PowerBI. You must be fluent in English and minimum one Scandinavian language, both written and spoken. As a person, you are proactive, have a “can-do" mindset while being result-oriented and have a natural “eagerness to win". You enjoy building relationships and take ownership - also under pressure. Further, you work in a structured and analytical way and are able to translate data and insights into concrete commercial actions. You are organized, flexible and thrive in finding solutions to potential problems. You thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute positively to teamwork across functions and countries.
