In your first 6 to 12 months, success means establishing yourself as a trusted partner who brings clarity to discussions and influences decisions with well-grounded analysis. You will take ownership of the control cycle, ensuring that budgets and forecasts are realistic and aligned with business dynamics. You will explain variances with insight, identify root causes and propose concrete actions. You will also take the lead on an improvement project that benefits the wider ECCO Leather finance community, all while showing increasing independence in your day-to-day work. Your key responsibilities include: Providing clear financial analysis and advice that supports decision making. Preparing budgets and forecasts, including follow-up and scenario work. You take ownership of your tasks and know when to seek input or challenge established thinking. Furthermore, we imagine you bring: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a related field. Experience in business controlling in an international or production-focused organisation. Strong analytical abilities and a practical approach to turning data into clear insights. Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools. Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work independently with a clear sense of prioritisation. Join a collaborative and international finance community You will join the entire Finance organisation of ECCO Leather, working across locations with all finance teams sitting in each of ECCO’s tanneries. This gives you a genuinely global network and a diverse group of colleagues who share knowledge generously and support one another across countries and time zones. The atmosphere is warm, open and forward leaning, with room to challenge established practices and introduce new ideas. You will also experience a flexible working environment built on trust, autonomy and a healthy balance between work and life. Ready to bring insights that make an impact?
