Parallel Works Site Engineer, Sund & Bælt Do you have a strong understanding of construction sites? Do you enjoy planning and coordinating, and do you have a good overview? Are you proactive, solution-oriented, and able to handle a variety of activities at the same time? Do you enjoy working in an international team environment? If so, you may be our next Parallel Works Site Engineer in the Tunnel, Portal, and Ramps Construction Team. The Job As a Parallel Works Site Engineer, your main responsibility will be to support our Tunnel, Portal, and Ramps Construction Team. You will be based in one of our site offices and witness the physical development of this groundbreaking infrastructure project firsthand. As a Parallel Works Site Engineer, you will work with all contractors and contracts involved in the final execution and fit-out of the tunnel itself. You will coordinate and liaise between different parties and seek the best possible solutions to ensure timely completion and handover of the tunnel. You will report to the Parallel Works Manager and will be supported by the Parallel Works Planner. You will also work closely with the HSE representatives dedicated to the Parallel Works team. The role includes, but is not limited to: Monitor and coordinate construction activities on behalf of the owner Report on activities on site Keep records and conduct inspections (witnessing) in accordance with company procedures Participate in chair meetings (internal and external) Review execution and design documents Liaise with contractor representatives Involve additional experts as required Interact and coordinate with specialists throughout the organization The position can be based either in our office in Rødbyhavn or in Puttgarden on Fehmarn. If you wish to be based in Puttgarden, good knowledge of the German language is required. Who are you? You should be open-minded and eager to broaden your horizons. You need to be a team player and a strong communicator and you should have at least 5 years of experience in similar positions and projects - preferably from large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has the following competencies, qualifications, and skills: Degree in Engineering or Architecture Strong communication skills Mediation skills Fluency (spoken and written) in English and German (if based in our office in Puttgarden) Broad understanding of complex project environments Proactive and solution-oriented Organized and structured Team player Good understanding of construction programs and time management You are organized, consistently maintain an overview, and ensure attention to detail. You are flexible in your approach to tasks and proactively follow through. What do we offer?
