You now have the chance to become a central player in the technical clarification and delivery of our Engine designs. And you will be the command center between engineering activities and customer support. As Order handling Engineer you will play an important role in: Processing design orders for the licensees Advising licensees, sales organization and end customers on the most suitable engine configurations. Establishing Order design quotations Provide input to updates to engine program and features. Coordinate and execute off-standard order design. Take part in customer facing meetings as technical expert. You will be part of a newly defined order execution department, which will be responsible for communicating the existing engine program and related order execution activities. The department ensures a seamless experience for licensees, internal sales offices and end-customers through a structured documentation and customer service methodology. As our new order handling engineer you will be placed together with Engineers having a solid experience and product knowledge, while also being part of shaping best ways of working in the newly formed department. We imagine that you: Hold a relevant bachelor’s or a master’s degree (e.g. Marine engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Export Engineer or similar) Are able to understand technical details of 4-stroke engines and auxiliary systems. Have experience with technical documentation Are Interested in sales and business development and preferably experience with establishing engineering quotations. Are able to delegate work to other engineering departments. Have ability to prioritize tasks and apply the required level of detail. Enjoy to provide a good customer experience.
