This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by driving sustainable initiatives that support our goal of more environmentally responsible production.

About the Role
As Project Manager, you will lead innovative and complex projects that improve production and operational efficiency of our facilities while significantly reducing our environmental footprint. You will report directly to the Regional Investment Manager Nordic & Baltic and collaborate with a dedicated team of technical experts.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare conceptual project planning including:

- Basic process flow diagrams

- Support on feasibility studies

- Master and detail time schedules

- Risk analyses

Develop tender documents, define project scope and pricing, and manage international contracts

Ensure compliance with national and EU safety and environmental regulations

Collaborate with the internal team to prepare documentation for required permits

Monitor project costs and forecasts to ensure alignment with budget

Manage stakeholder requirements and ensure projects meet agreed expectations

Participate in technical committee meetings and provide regular updates on progress and costs

Your Profile
We are looking for a committed and experienced individual who is motivated by green transformation and industrial innovation.

You have:

A degree in engineering education (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or similar)

Solid experience with industrial plant design and construction (process, civil, structural, mechanical, and basic electrical)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and project planning software such as MS Project

Fluency in English, both written and spoken. (Danish is an advantage but not a requirement)

In addition, knowledge of cement industry processes and alternative fuel systems is a strong advantage. Experience with basic knowledge on AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is beneficial, as is familiarity with SAP. The role requires limited travel and suits a hands-on, solution-oriented professional with a strong technical mindset.

What We Offer
At Aalborg Portland, you’ll be part of an ambitious and professional company that prioritizes both personal and professional development. We offer:

A dynamic, informal workplace with a strong team spirit

A culture built on trust, collaboration, and open dialogue

Freedom with responsibility and opportunities to take ownership

Excellent internal career development opportunities
